Nebî is a musician, composer and luthier whose work bridges tradition and modernity. Through original compositions and lyrics, Nebî creates music with a strong sense of soul and narrative. Nebî is developing his Duo-Dem project, which consists in total of four albums and twenty singles. This collaboration with Ali tells of the transience of life and the deceptive nature of the dream of the world. “Derew e” (“It Is a Lie”) is an existential inquiry built around the idea that clear-flowing waters leave no room for murkiness, the necessity of avoiding the shadow of what is evil, and the passage of time that waits for no one. It is a story about fate fading like a star, the day turning into darkness, and awakening from the dream of the world.
